LORD SHIVA        According to the Vedas and Aagamas the idol of Lord Shiva is not for the pooja purpose of an individual but only Shiva Linga is  meant for pooja purpose. We have got a good lot of Shivalingams which has its own powers indiviudally. The Shiva Lingams are collected from the Hold rivers such as GANGES, NARMADHA & the KANTAGHI of Nepal. Panchaloga aavudai (seat of the LINGA, Bhana Lingams of various sizes, which gives the very good meditating capacity and empowers our brain and thus helps us to lead a peaceful and calm life.   By in taking the milk and water poured on the Lingam our body and mind gets refreshed. we also have the VITANGA LINGAMS (formed without using any kind of machineries) in the materials as SPATIKAM, MARAGATHAM and other precious stones like Ruby, White stone & other stones. The Spatika Lingam is very powerful in curing the respiratory ailments, Maragatha Lingam is very powerful in increasing our brain power & memory power. The THATHVAM of the Shiva Linga is the unity of male & female powers. The power of male i.e., the sperm is white and the power of the female which is called as "SURONITHAM" which is red in colour. Only as its resemblence the VIBHOOTHI and KUMKUMAM is given in the temples. The half yellow and half blue coloured Linga is called as "ARDHANAREESWARA" and the Linga which has as a line in the center is called as "PARTHA PRAHARAM" (Beaten by the Arjuna at the time of giving Arjuna the PAASUPATHA ASTHARAM" and MADHULINGAM (Honey coloured) are also available with us. The Shivalinga with Naghaabaranam (snake hairdress) and the Thrishul are also available which enables us to get the highest meditating power and enables us to work hard physically and mentally.
